Based in Connecticut, Michael Vasaturo is the chief financial officer of New Haven Terminal, where he has worked since 2008. When he is not working, Mike Vasaturo enjoys visiting Disney World with his wife.

Disney World often gets marketed to families and children, but there are plenty of reasons for adults to visit, too. Here are some of top things for adults to do in Disney World:

1. Explore at night: Nighttime is the best time for adults to wander the park as it becomes decreasingly crowded as many parents take their children home. The lines are shorter, and the darkness makes everything more romantic. Disney’s Boardwalk is an especially fun area for nighttime entertainment and a great place to view the fireworks at Epcot with an adult beverage.

2. Eat and drink: Disney World offers much to entice foodies. Epcot, in particular, cooks up savory ethnic cuisines, and each fall the park holds the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Other great restaurant choices include Narcoosee’s, California Grille, and Le Cellier.

3. Run a race: Many adults visit Disney World to participate in a race, whether it’s the annual Walt Disney World Marathon or a shorter run.
