Michael “Mike” Vasaturo is the chief financial officer of New Haven Terminal in Connecticut. He oversees all cash management and banking relations. Outside of his work with New Haven Terminal, Michael Vasaturo supports the efforts of Knights of Columbus.

One of the oldest Catholic charitable organizations in the United States, Knights of Columbus adheres to the four core principles of unity, charity, patriotism, and fraternity. In addition to its general charity work, Knights of Columbus offers a number of specialty services for American veterans.

In recent years, Military Council 14584 in Fort Bliss has begun visiting Ambrosio Guillen State Veterans’ Home and delivering wheelchairs and walkers. Knights of Columbus members accompany veterans to the food court at Fort Bliss, keeping them company and helping them get around. Military Council 14584 also assists widowed parish members and sponsors the El Paso House of Hope 5K Run/Walk.

Other military and veteran activities at Knights of Columbus include a Priest Appreciation Dinner in Ramstein, Germany and a special Exemplification in Rome, Italy. Knights of Columbus also established a scholarship program for military chaplains.
