Michael (Mike) Vasaturo is the vice president for New Haven Terminal, Inc., in New Haven, Connecticut. Among his duties in this position are overseeing all financial areas of the company, including banking relationships and risk management. Outside of his professional life, Michael Vasaturo is involved in the Knights of Columbus.
The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by Father Michael McGivney. Through the organization aid is offered to families in need, as well as individuals who are ill or have a disability. The organization has over 1.8 million members around the world, including in countries such as Poland and South Korea.
In December of 2016, Patrick E. Kelly was appointed Deputy Supreme Knight. He was a knight for more than 30 years, and had worked as an executive director for the organization since 2011. He is a retired Captain from the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps Reserve. As executive director of the Saint John Paul II National Shrine, he was instrumental in establishing two new worship spaces featuring mosaic artwork by Jesuit Father Marko Rupnik.
